AgentDesk
AgentDesk is a desktop app that gives every AI coding tool a shared project brain.
Claude Code, Codex CLI, Gemini CLI, your IDE and the AgentDesk web UI all read and write the same project memory — decisions, conventions, code changes, git history and a work-item backlog. Switch tools mid-task and the context follows you. It's the tool BiSkilled uses to deliver client projects, and it's free to download — you only pay for the AI usage (bring your own provider keys).
The problem it solves
Every AI coding tool starts from zero. You explain the architecture to Claude Code, then re-explain it to your IDE assistant, then lose all of it when the session ends. AgentDesk captures that context once and shares it across all your tools, across sessions, projects and teammates.
How it works, briefly
- It watches your work — prompts, commits and code changes are captured automatically.
- It distils that into memory — raw capture becomes durable facts and a classified backlog (see the memory model).
- It serves that memory back — through a built-in MCP server any AI tool can query, plus skills that run tasks end-to-end with full project context.
What's inside
| Feature | What it does |
|---|---|
| 3-layer memory | Raw capture → durable facts (semantic search) → work-item backlog |
| Skills | Reusable AI task definitions that run with project context, git and an approval gate |
| MCP server | Exposes memory, history and work items to Claude Code, Codex, Gemini and web clients |
| Shared prompts | System-prompt presets for coding, planning and review |
| Code view | File browser with change history, complexity and hotspot ranking |
| Multi-model | Claude, OpenAI, DeepSeek, Gemini, Grok — your keys |
